]]> 2014-05-26T12:59:09+02:00 2014-05-26T12:59:09+02:00 http://forum.spearboy.com/viewtopic.php?t=22043&p=455422#p455422 <![CDATA[Re: cr semaine du 12 au 16 mai]]> pour ma part j'ai fait une jolie sortie la semaine dernière , levé à 6 h du mat ce que je déteste , mettre la combi froide , dans l'eau froide, avec du vent en plus , je fais les premier coins , je vois des beau sars je rate un doublé je sais pas comment j'ai fais des dizaines de sars de 1,5 et plus ils étaient bien serré j'ai tiré dans le ta et rien :!: ensuite je vais sur une trés belle zone des trous des failles des arches 9 à 14 m de fond , je me fait un belle agachon à peine je suis posé arrive à 100km/h un gros loup 3,8 kg il c'est suicidé j'aurai pas tiré il me serais rentré dedans , je fais 2 autre loups de 1,3 kg et 1,5 kg , aprés je me dirige au plus profond de la zone vers une grande arche j'arrive je coule en silence et la :shock: pfff un maigre face à moi il tourne et fonce ce planquer dans les grottes et les grande failles il devait faire plus de 50 kg , les poissons ce sont envolé dans l'eau qui'l a brassé , j'ai préféré ne pas tiré j'avais pas le flingue pour de toute façon , j'ai quand même continué ma descente calmement je me suis dit même apeuré comme elle était sa peut revenir , je me suis posé j'ai tendu le bras dans l'eau sombre de la grotte et une grosse tête est arrivé très très vite un autre maigre plus petit je tir dans la joue sa transperce , il passe dans un trou je le suis et d'un coup il arrive de derrière moi je le prend dans la gueule :D il m'a fait un bordel il est passé dans un trou de souris j'ai suivis il est ressortie rerentré pfff j'étais tous seul il a fallus que je fasse le chemin qu'il a fait pour démêler tous sa j'ai nagé au bateau pris le 75 et je l'ai doublé 26 kg subhappy oufff

Concerning the "large scallop", in France we call this "Grande Nacre" (Pinna nobilis), but I don't know the good translation in English (This is one of the largest existing shells in the world!). This beautiful shell is protected since 1992.

Anyway I hope to see you one day in France, with a Denti on your arrow... subhappy

PS : Costa c'est super sympa de ta part d'avoir accueilli notre ami californien ! :itsgood:

The diving in France is so beautiful! The beauty of the snow-capped Alps as a backdrop to sapphire blue waters is unmatched anywhere I have dived. You are lucky to have that in your backyard.

The fish were sparse, small, and skittish as I had heard. Costa and I started by looking for larger fish (denti and amberjack) on some deep reefs, but after no luck resorted to hunting small sar, and even those evaded me completely. I did see an eel, some jellyfish, an octopus, and a large scallop (?) partly buried in the sand.

The abundance of nets is unfortunate. California banned inshore gill-netting in the mid-1980s and the resulting comeback in so many fish species, most notably our prized white seabass, has been dramatic.

By contrast, the fish in California are abundant and easy to approach. Our water tends to be murkier (average 8m) but can be as good as 25m out at the coastal islands. Our water also tends to be colder (10-20 C), especially in the north. In the south our most desirable fish are the pelagics that come during the summer – mostly white seabass and yellowtail (kingfish). In northern California the desirable species are bottom dwellers, rockfish and lingcod. Both regions have giant kelp forests, which make for beautiful diving. Our coastline can get huge swells and I think tends to be rougher than Cote d’Azur, especially in northern California, but forecasts are usually accurate a few days in advance. The day I dove in Cannes was very windy and Costa explained that your wind can be very volatile/unpredictable.

I hope to return someday and hunt someplace a bit more remote for the elusive denti. A huge thanks to Costa for taking me out, teaching me a bit about hunting in France, and working so hard to put me on a fish – sorry that I could not make it happen. You have a friend in California. I think my next speargun may have to be a roller gun.

certain utilise 1x14 avec des flèche de 7.5 et parait-il que la puissance et la precision sont au rendez-vous.

tomtom, t'aurais vraiment dû essayer d'avancer doucement de ton poste vers elle, ça peut très bien marcher (comme la faire exploser), et t'aurais gagner juste un mètre pour la traverser avec ton double sandow...vu la distance, je pense qu'avec le mien, tu tirais à l'aise de là où t'étais :wink: subhappy
